Oecm Agreements

OECM recommends that all customers who have questions or need more information contact our customer service team at customersupport@oecm.ca or 1-844-OECM-900 (1-844-632-6900). A complete list of OECM products and services and upcoming procurement projects is available in the OECM Market Guide. In particular, these preliminary measures describe procurement expectations to the extent possible, including the fact that customers must use an „existing and enforceable agreement with the document provider (VOR), to the extent possible and appropriate” for new contracts, and ensure that all new contracts have a maximum duration of two years, including renewals. The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services GATS has a website (Doing Business with the Ontario Government) with details on interim measures. The Ministry of Education (MEDU) and the Ministry of Education, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) recently sent memos to their respective sectors recognizing the value of working with the OECM and recognizing the need to explore ways to leverage oecm`s strengths and practices to support the new initiative to centralize the supply chain. The OECM has partnered with the MGCS to clarify the interim measures. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify and take note of the following: On March 18, 2019, the provincial government announced its plan to implement a Supply Chain Centralization Initiative for Ontario`s Public Service and Broader Public Service (PPS) organizations. Clients may also have received a memorandum from their Department of Financing announcing interim measures that are now in effect. .
